Education, Training and Youth Services - SummerWorks

TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING STAFF POSITIONS SERVICING YOUTH PARTICIPANTS IN THE SUMMERWORKS PROGRAM, PLEASE FOLLOW THE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW. PLEASE NOTE THAT EMPLOYMENT FOR THESE POSITIONS IS CONTINGENT UPON RECEIPT OF ADEQUATE FUNDING.


Responsible for the input and maintenance of data into the SummerWorks database, along with performing all associated filing, standardized procedures, and detailed instructions. Code all participant and worksite applications for completeness and eligibility, and enter the applications into the SummerWorks database. Ensure that all participant and worksite applications along with supporting documentation are appropriately organized and securely filed. Update both hard copy and automated files with additional documentation as submitted. Tag all participant records with job placement when made available. Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum of a high school diploma/GED required. Must have up to twelve months of relevant experience in an office setting. Demonstrated ability to handle high volume workload with attention to detail required. Must be able to identify appropriate concerns and ask timely questions to ensure proper workflow and process management. Prior experience with a human service agency a plus. Good computer and typing skills required. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
