ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II / DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST
Responsible for handling a variety of duties related to the daily management of the fundraising/development database. Maintain a professional atmosphere and ensure that all system processes and procedures run smoothly and support effective fundraising. Enter and update information about donors and fundraising activities into the Raiser’s Edge database system. Establish and maintain paper and electronic filing systems. Record donations received by mail or electronically. Generate tax acknowledgement letters for donors. Assemble periodic reports on fundraising activities and funds generated. Assist in the management of fundraising related mailings. Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED, with five years of experience in a professional office environment required. Experience maintaining fundraising/development database required. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer and organizational skills required. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other database products highly desirable. Experience in development, marketing or a related field preferred. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
