CLINICAL DIRECT SERVICE COORDINATOR
Housing and Homelessness Department

Conduct clinical assessments of program participants and provider service recommendations and referrals. Develop clinical resources and partners which will impact change in the life of participants. Develop referral relationships with community-based mental health providers. Develop reciprocal relationships with hospitals to focus on families. Develop and implement emergency protocols and interventions. Provide clinical case management supervision to program staff. Facilitate team review meetings and individual staff case supervision. Develop training protocols, manual, and tools to support staff. Identify training needs and other supportive resources for staff. Recruit and supervise interns. Provide direct service report to the Director. Perform other related duties as required.

Ability to chair meetings, represent the agency/department with other providers, government agencies, and funding sources required. Must be able to assess office or department needs and recommend changes and innovations. Ability to handle a variety of assignments and have the flexibility to work evenings if necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a CORI check. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required. Bilingual skills a plus. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field required. Licensed BSW/MSW preferred. Must have at least three to five years of relevant experience in and knowledge of homeless and housing issues, housing subsidies, and housing law. Minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience desired. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
