TEEN AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER
Early Learning Program - Madison Park
Facilitate the recruitment, enrollment, and support of children and families within the program, particularly those who are teenage parents. Assist families with the application process and provide on-going and necessary services. Serve as liaison and services coordinator to provide outreach, support, trainings, workshops, referrals, advocacy, and up-to-date record maintenance for all the families. Collaborate with Boston Public High Schools, ABCD programs, outside community agencies, and organizations to develop and provide needed services to all the families. Participate in related trainings and meetings. Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have one to three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of neighborhoods served by program and citywide services relevant to the program population required. Must have proven ability to keep accurate written records and documentation. Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and data entry required. Must be willing to attend and participate in community activities, trainings, and night meetings as needed. Ability to speak/write a relevant language preferred. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
